"We thouroughly enjoyed our one night stay at Coatesland House and would have gladly spent more time there. Florence, Donal and Winnie the pup were fantastic, gracious hosts. They even tossed our wet clothes in the dryer after getting caught in a downpour earlier in the day. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Their recommendations for dinner, drinks and sights to see in town were perfect. Florence also suggested driving the Conor Pass to Dingle (our next stop) and she was right - it was breathtaking. In fact, we took many of the suggestions Florence and Donal offered about restaurants and sights in other parts of the country and they were all great. Our bedroom and bathroom were spacious and impeccably clean. We would recommend Coatesland House and a stop in Adare to anyone traveling to Ireland!" Stayed August 2011, traveled as a couple.

"Donal and Florence do an amazing breakfast here. Anything and everything! Our room was massive and a great deal. We stayed here for a wedding rather than pay loads for the expensive hotels in the area. Great decision and would certainly stay here again." Stayed August 2011, traveled as a couple.

"Donal and Florence were wonderful hosts. Their breakfast room is paradise - the food delicious. The room was spotless, beds comfortable. We so enjoyed sitting and talking with them - could have stayed for days. Loved their pup Winnie too!!! Such a delight...would love to come back to visit." Stayed July 2011, traveled with family.

"We came upon this B&B purely by chance. The outside of the home being very friendly with a great yard. Our hotess Florence was incredible. The home was decorated very nicely, clean, and a huge bedroom we stayed in with 2 bathrooms! Her breakfast room is to die for and her meal was perfect. Bonus was the backyard flower beds and playing ball with her dog Winnie. Her husband and she sat and talked with us during our morning and were full of information and stories of an older Ireland. We really didn't want to leave. If you travel to Adare, pleaes stay with her. She will make you feel welcome and comfortable." Stayed July 2011, traveled with friends.

"Coatesland House provided everything I needed for my vacation. The room was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. There was even a small refrigerator in my room. My view of the back garden was lovely.Florence and Donal could not have been more helpful with suggestions of places to see and pubs to visit within walking distance.Breakfast was unending. Choices ranged from cold cereals and yogurt to steaming hot oatmeal and fresh breads. There was a roaring fire in the guest lounge and private parking in the rear of the house.
